Summer 2018 Reading List
As some of you may know, this summer is going to be wild for me. With the wedding in September, I have A LOT to do but because I apparently love the chaos I thought that wasn’t enough so…
Steven and I bought a house!
So like I said, it is definitely going to be one wild – and – busy summer. But even with all the moving and planning, one thing I would like to make sure I do is slow down. Today I’m sharing my summer reading list for the days when I just need a moment to myself. These have been on my list for a while so it’s time to read them and I think they will help my fellow girl bosses as well.
Before you go,
comment below and tell me what you are reading this summer!
Summer 2018 Reading List:
You Are A Badass At Making Money: Since this summer is going to be crazy busy and well, pretty expensive, I just started reading this book and love it so I wanted to include it. If you read my 10 must-read books for entrepreneurs list, then you may recognize the title is similar to one of Jen Sincero’s other books: you are a badass. I loved her first book so when she came out with this one, it was just perfect timing. I am very interested in not only making more money for myself but for my business as well. Her tips and talk always have me laughing but also thinking big picture.
Be Obsessed or Be Average: Grant Cardone is probably one of my favorite humans. He is so funny and raw it’s incredible but he’s also a very, very smart businessman. His first book I read was The 10x Rule so I’m excited to read another book of his.
How To Style Your Brand: One thing I don’t think I will ever learn enough about/want to stop learning about is branding. It is constantly changing but it is one thing I really want to master. I’m hoping for this to be a quick and informative read.
Styling For Instagram: Another thing I will always be obsessed with is social media and their trends. I love seeing new platforms pop up and how old ones change. I also love photography so I think this book will have some great insight and hopefully some great photography tips.
Content Strategy Planner: One thing I really want to get better at is content planning. I feel like I run myself too thin sometimes and I think better planning could easily help that struggle.
You may notice my summer reading list isn’t like most. As much as I would love to read a good murder-mystery or romance novel, I don’t think I will have the time this year. With that being said, I like to kill two birds with one stone by reading something that will help me grow and learn at the same time.
