Palette Takeover: The Beauty Crop Espresso Yourself Eyeshadow Palette
Who is The Beauty Crop?
The Beauty Crop is a brand that is inspired by healthy living. They create products with natural ingredients and avoid complex formulas. They love to create unique cosmetic recipes that include natural oils and plant-based extracts so the products can nurture your skin while skill delivering on intense color. Their philosophy is that nutrition is equally essentials for your skin as it is for your body.
“An essential palette of 21 shades ranging from delicious browns, neutrals to plum, formulated with coffee extract. Rich-textured and highly pigmented mattes and shimmers. Inspired by our favourite hug in a mug, we created a delicious collection of wearable eye shadows formulated with coffee extract.”
[So since this has coffee extract, does that mean I technically had my first taste of coffee?]
First, I love that their products are 100% cruelty-free and plant-based. As a personal trainer and an enthusiast for healthy living, I really appreciate that they care about what they put into their products. I also love that they only test on their friends and family and not animals.
Aside from their adorable packaging [on all of their products], I truly love all the tones of this palette. If you have been around FCN for a minute, you know I love my neutrals. The formula of these shadows are so creamy almost buttery to the touch and the shimmers really spoke to me. I loved me some matte shadows but the shimmers really caught my eye.
In this palette specifically, I fell in love with Vanilla Bean and Gold Roast. They are SO creamy and SO pigmented and I love that they are different than most shimmer shadows that you see in neutral palettes. I honestly feel like the pictures don’t even do them justice because they are so stunning in person. The Vanilla Bean shade is like a beautiful grey-brown-purple vibe and Gold Roast is like a bold copper.
What I Love:
I love how this palette DIDN’T smell like coffee even though it contains coffee extracts. As the only girl in America who doesn’t like coffee, I can tell you I greatly appreciated that. I loved how easily and evenly the shadows blended. I loved the variety of transition shades and that there was an even amount of matte shades vs shimmer shades. I feel like lately a lot of the palettes out there have a lot of either one or the other and this one had a good amount of both. I also love that the price is $29.90 and that you get 21 shadows! I think this is an adorable Christmas gift maybe with a coffee shop giftcard or cute mug. Just sayin’.
Strawberries and Cream, Gold Roast, Vanilla Bean, Java Chip, Pumpkin Spiced, Cinnamon Cream and Americano.
