Free Ultimate Travel Checklist + Mini Derma-e Review!
Are you ready for the start of another incredible week?
As some of you may already know, last month traveled to St Maarten for a much-needed vacay.
As we were packing we realized we were in desperate need of an ultimate travel checklist,
– so –
naturally, we had to create one for our babes to help you pack for your next vacation.
We wanted to give you something you can simply print off and that covers every item you could ever need.
[We’re serious – We even included our special bikini competition checklist!]
before we get started, we wanted to mention we will also be highlighting
two special products today from Derma-E’s hydration line.
We received these products courtesy of BrandBacker for testing purposes
– however –
we have been using their products for years and love them dearly.
Don’t believe us?
I spy Derma-e in St. Maarten!
[As always, all of our reviews are our own honest opinions.]
Alright, let’s get packing.
Ever wonder what to actually pack for vacation?
I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have started packing by printed off some random list
and either at the last minute or when it’s too late realized that I needed something that wasn’t on that list!
Has that happened to you too?
I know it happens far too often which is why I was inspired to create the ultimate list for you and because we are a beauty blog
we got you covered on how to pack your makeup like a pro so make sure to check it out at the end of this post.
Where do I even begin?
Such a loaded question!
Let’s start with the basics, no matter where you go you will always need some staple pieces like tops, shoes and some form of a pant or skirt.
For me, another basic that is essential is a hydrating cream. I personally prefer Derma-e and I especially love their new packaging coming out in March 2017! To me, a cream is essential because whether you are going somewhere hot or cold your skin should always feel hydrated and moisturized.
With that being said, here are some of the essentials you should always bring:
- At least two tops
- Pants, Skirt or Shorts
- Derma-e hydrating day cream and hydrating night cream
- Phone and/or laptop chargers
- Passport, Travel itinerary, flight information, and cash
- A Toothbrush and toothpaste, a hairbrush, deodorant, and if you are a female some makeup and remover
Okay, so what is next?
Another loaded question!
As you know I am a creature who thrives off lists [they just make everything so much easier!].
Anyways, after I grab my basic essentials I start to go down my list. Depending on where I am going will set the tone.
Somewhere warm? Then let’s start with our bathing suits. Somewhere cold? Looks like I’ll need some sweaters.
From there casually go through the list and check off what you bring and cross out what you don’t.
And as promised, we have created our ultimate checklist for you.

Derma-e is a company whose products I have been using for YEARS!
Derma-e was founded in 1984 by David Stearn and Dr. Linda Miles with the humble commitment to offer skin-friendly, earth-friendly, highly effective products. Since then they have grown to offer over 80 unique face and body care products and treatments. Their brand is driven by results and they believe in a future with healthier skin, a healthier environment, and a healthier world.
Their products are paraben-free, phthalate-free, GMO-free, gluten-free, sodium lauryl sulfate-free, petrolatum-free, mineral oil-free and dye-free.
When I heard I was going to be receiving some of their products with their exclusive new packaging
– coming March 2017! –
I thought it was a dream. I seriously love their products.
They have a wide range of products that help with hydration, anti-wrinkle, and firming but they also have products for Microdermabrasion and a cool overnight peel.
Their eco-ethical, non-compromised formulas have not changed with the repackaging [thank goodness] and the new look is so fresh and classic! I think the new packaging is much more appealing to the eye and I think you will love it too.
You can find their products at Ulta beauty, Target, Wholefoods, CVS, Sally Beauty and of course at dermae.com.
