A few months back I was looking for a healthy, natural snack alternative. If you know me, you know I rarely eat chips or anything processed (for that matter), but I decided to look up some kale chip recipes online…andddd I found nothing great. Everything I found had to many ingredients and took away from the more natural snack I was looking for. It was then I reached out to my amazing cousin Ciara, as a paleo-lover she shared her quick and easy Kale Chips recipe with me….and now I cannot stop eating them! (Thanks Ci) 😉
Ingredients: Kale (about a cup or more – enough to fill a tray), Olive or Coconut Oil Spray, Sea Salt
1. I use a stone tray from pampered chef with a piece of parchment paper on top. Spray the paper with the oil of your choice.
2. Spread kale across paper/pan and spray with oil. Sprinkle desired amount of sea salt on the kale.
3. Bake in oven for about 15-20 minutes or until crispy (but not burnt!) at 350-400 degrees. (Time and Temp depend on your oven)
*Check at the 10 minute mark to make sure they aren’t fried.
4. Let cool slightly and ENJOY!
I honestly make them a few times a week. They are so easy to make, taste delicious, and are low in calories.
