Hey Hey Everyone! Welcome to 2014!
It all started on Wednesday with a trip to IKEA and the Dollarstore. Here is a sneak peak at one of my latest projects.
I randomly decided to pick up an “ALEX” (from IKEA). Thankfully I had a handyman handy to help me put it together 😉
I also FINALLY bought a bottle cutter to cut the 18+ empty wine/glass bottles I have stored in my closet. I’ll post those DIY projects once I finish them too. (I can’t wait!)
Also, in light of trying new things, I tried my first “mug-cake”
(props to my friend Sam for the delicious recipe).
It was freakin’ awesome – and it fit in my macros for the day!
Doesn’t look pretty but it sure was good!
- Cake: 2 eggwhites, 1/2 scoop protein powder (I used chocolate), 1 packet stevia, 2 tbsp coconut flour, and a splash of almond milk. Stir together in a coffee mug and microwave for 2 minutes
- Topping: remaining 1/2 scoop protein powder, powdered peanut butter (I used PB2) and a splash of almond milk. Do not microwave. Stir together in a separate cup or dish.
